Al-Kindi (c. 801–873)
Al-Kindi, also known as the "Philosopher of the Arabs," was an Arab philosopher, mathematician, and physician. He is considered the first of the Islamic peripatetic philosophers and was instrumental in introducing Greek philosophy to the Arab world.
